Beautiful antique Victorian child\'s christening gown. This dress is from the late 1800\'s!!!! Maybe for a child, doll or just to collect. Made of linenor linen cotton blend with lots of lace detail. The back has hidden button holes, but no buttons.

In very good vintage condition. There is some light wearand some small holes and one larger hole in the lace and a whiteline on the front of the dress and two tiny spots (see pictures 4 and 5).

Length approx. 22\"

Waist approx. 8\" across and needs a button or snap in the back to give it a waist.

Sleeves approx. 10\" and narrow. My 30\" tall doll\'s hands will fit through the sleeve opening, but then it gets a little too tight towards the upper arm.

Looks like it will fit a doll with an 8\" or 9\" neck

I displayed it onthe 28\" Kestner 146 doll I have listedhere onand it fits prettywell (first pic). It comes to a few inches or so above the ankles when the doll is standing tall and theshoulders and sleeves are good. Needs a few nips and tucks in the back to make it fit, since it has no buttons. Needs undergarments too.
