You are offerding on a unusual silverplate bowl with swing handle, possibly a nut bowl by Meriden Britannia Silver Plate Company in Quadruple Plate from the late 1800\'s. The bowl is one of a kind. I have never seen another one like it. The footed bowl has beautiful decoration on sides and on the inside bottom of bowl. The bowl is Victorian.
Marked on Bottom: Meriden B. Company, Quadruple Plate, 612 U.S.A.(B. is BRITANNIA), I believe Connecticut.Measures: 5\" to top of handle by 5\"across by approx. 2.5\" from (bottom to top edge of bowl)
Condition: Excellent Antique Condition. Freshly hand polished and ready to use.
