UP FOR sale IS A VICTORIAN ANTIQUE PICKLE CASTOR WITH A BEAUTIFUL CRANBERRY QUILT PATTERN JAR.THIS CASTOR IS IN REMARKABLE CONDITION FOR ITS AGE. THE PLATING IS INTACT, THE JAR ONLY HAS A VERY SMALL FLEA BITE (PIN SIZE NICK) TO THE INNER RIM AS SHOWN AND GREATLY ENLARGED ON PHOTO #7. THE LID COMPLETELY COVERS THIS.THE TONGS ARE FANCY AND OF THE VICTORIAN ERA AS WELL. THIS CASTOR FRAME HAS NO MISSING PIECES OR PARTS, NO REPAIRS OR DAMAGE. THE LID FITS PERFECTLY. IN VERY GOOD GENTLY USED CONDITION, THIS IS A CLEAN ANTIQUE PICKLE CASTOR.MADE BY THE PAIRPOINT SILVER PLATING COMPANY IN THE LATE 1800\'S TO EARLY 1900\'S.
