UP FOR sale IS A BEAUTIFUL VICTORIAN ANTIQUE PICKLE CASTOR WITH AN EARLY AMERICAN PRESSED/PATTERN VASELINE JAR.THIS CASTOR IS 11 1/2\" TALL.IT HAS BEAUTIFUL EMBOSSING OF BIRDS, BERRIES AND FLOWERS AROUND THE BASE. THE UPPER HALF IS FANCY WITH ELABORATE DECORATIVE \"GINGERBREAD\". SHADOWS ON PHOTOS ARE NOT DENTS, ONLY REFLECTIONS.THE JAR HAS NO CHIPS, NICKS OR CRACKS. IT GLOWS UNDER A BLACK LIGHT AS SHOWN ON FIRST PHOTO.THE LID FITS WELL AND SNAPS INTO PLACE. THE FRAME MOST LIKELY HAD A TONGS HOOK AT SOME POINT IN TIME BUT STILL DISPLAYS WELL AS IT IS. IN OVERALL GREATSHAPE WITH LIGHT TO NORMAL WEAR FOR ITS AGE.
