This elegant,Victorian,rosewood veneer sewing/jewellery box,has pewter stringing and mother of pearl dots to the lid and front.A working lock,key and tassel.Original \'stop\' hinges.Baize underside.Mother of pearl cartouche and escutcheon.Age related wear,small dents and scratches.The interior is beautifully lined with a padded wine coloured silky material under the lid and to the base.Lovely period lining paper to the sides.Size is 11.75\" x 9\" x 4.75\" (30cm x 22.5cm x 12cm).Will be well packed and sent signed for.Please see my other boxes.
