This \"1897 New Model\" has a transverse ladder braced top and an ebony, flattened pyramid bridge. Precision inlay work with beautiful scrimshaw detail. Reverse gear tuners work well and lookvery clean.Several cleated cracks onlower bout end/sides. Wear and chipping around bridge perimeter.One impact crack/wound on upper bass side. Wear to binding in same area. Cracks on the top from bridge to butt end have not been cleated-please see all photos for an accurate representation of guitar\'s condition. Neck shows some relief but is relatively straight. The guitar is playable and is currently strung with Martin .011 silk steels.We wouldnot recommend anything heavier than light silk and steels on this guitar.Overall length is 37 1/4\" (94.6 cm), 13 1/8\" (33.3 cm) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/8\" (10.5 cm) deep at sides, measured at the end block.Scale length is 24 3/4\" (629 mm), string spread is 2 3/8\" (60 mm) at the saddle. Everything but the bridge pins are original. A very attractive instrument.There is no case.Payment Policy
