VINTAGE 18k YELLOW GOLD ENAMEL PLIQUE A JOUR ROSE QUARTZ RING ESTATE JEWELRY:

This ring is very large and highly detailed. It came from a lady from Greenwich, Connecticut who bought it in Rome, Italy. This ring is an exact replica of a ring from the Renaissance period. It is marked 750 with another makers mark I can not read. The top of the ring is approx. 1 1/4 at its widest point. The ring is crowned with an approx. 3/4 domed and faceted Rose Quartz stone. The stone is nestled in a pink and red Harlequin design [Plique a jour enamel] frame that is magnificently translucent. It looks like jewel made of stained glass. The Harlequin design continues around and down the sides of this beautiful ring. This ring is a size 7.25 and weighs 13.3 grams. I have a similar ring listed that is 14k and appraised at $2300.
