These 19 vintage Valentine\'s cards are mostly stand up cards, either by the way they fold or with a stand attached to the back. Most of the cards have handwriting somewhere on them with the giver, recipient and/or date.Cards included are front to back:
Card #1Girl behindwhite picket fence measuring 3 3/4 inches by 2 7/8 inches. This is a tri-fold card. The sentiment on the front is \"BE MYVALENTINE- I Stand Back ofThis Proposition\".When opened there is a girl holding a heart and a verse. Handwriting on the back dates this to 1931.
Card #2 Heart shaped fold over die cut girl with basket (she really doesn\'t stand up to well. Measures 4 inches by 4 3/4 inches.
Card #3 Blonde girl behind wooden fence. This is a tri-fold card. The sentiment on the front is \"I\'d LIKE TO BE ON THE RIGHT SIDE, MY VALENTINE\". Inside is a girl with a big red heart.This card measures 3 3/4inches by 27/8 inches. Handwritten date on back is 1931.
Card #4is the same as card #1.
Card #5 is of two children under an umbrella. It measures 3 3/8 inches by 3 3/8 inches. \"I\'ve Taken aShine to You\" is on the front and a message isinside. Handwriting on the back has 1931.
Card #6 is a girl with a white muff. It has a tab on one side, the other is missing, so it doesn\'t stand up too well. Made in U.S.A. Handwriting on backhas 1926. This card measures 4 5/8 inches by 4 inches.
Card #7 is the same as card #3.
Card #8 is a tabbed stand up cupid with \"Valentine Greetings\". It measures 2 3/4 inches by 2 3/8 inches. 25 is handwritten on the back.
Card #9 is a fold over die-cut card with a mailbox and a little boy and dog. It measures 4 inches by 3 1/2 inches. It is Made in U.S.A. by American Colortype Company. 1928 is handwritten on the back.
Card #10 is a fold over die cut card with a boy and dog. It measures 4 3/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. It is Made in U.S.A. 1926 is handwritten on the back.
Card #11 is a fold over die cut card with a woman and girl. It is Made in U.S.A. and measures 4 3/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. 1925 is written on the back.
Card #12 is a fold over die cut card Made in U.S.A. It has a girl watering flowers or garden. It measures 4 3/8 inches by 3 1/4 inches. 1927 is written on the back.
Card #13 is a tri-fold, die-cut card. It has a girl in a chair on a candlestick telephone. When the card is folded and hooked together, the boy on the telephone is at her feet. Initials have been written on the girl and boy and there is a handwritten message on the back. This card measures 6 3/4 inches by 3 1/8 inches.
Card #14 is a tri-fold of two people at the fence. It almost looks like two girls but I guess is supposed to be a boy with flowers and girl in red check apron. The boy is die cut and folded down to pop him out. This card measures 5 1/2 inches by 3 7/8 inches. 1931 is handwritten on the back.
Card #15 is a tabbed card that has a couple in a green jalopy with cupid under the license plate. It is made in U.S.A., measures 4 1/2 inches by 4 5/8 inches and is has handwritten 1927 on the back.
Card #16 is of a boy and girl with an umbrella in front of a heart. It stands with a tab attached to the back. It measures 5 1/2 inches by 5 1/2 inches. 1927 is handwritten on the back.
Card #17 This card has a bandit, robber boy (missing a leg) and a girl with her hands up. A tab is attached to the back for displaying the card. 1928 has been handwritten on the back. This card measures 6 inches by 5 inches.
Card #18 is a girl and a duck in a washpan with the message \"Be My VALENTINE\"And \"don\'t try to DUCK me\". It has atri-fold on one side for a 3 D effect and a tab on the right with Made in U.S.A. The girlhas beencreased at the legs and she flops over. This card measures 5 7/8 inches by 4 inches folded and 5 1/2 inches unfolded.
Card #19 is a mirrorimage boy foldable at the center. One sidewith the boy hidingflowers reads \"WILL YUH! HUH! and the other with the flowers showing \"BE MY VALENTINE?\". This card measures 5 inches by 4 1/4 inches and is Made in U.S.A.
