VINTAGE 1940s BERGER SWIVEL HARP GLASS & BRASS TABLE LAMP GOLD GILTHAND PAINTED DECOR

This piece is a beautiful, 1940\'s Berger swivelharp, glass and brass hand-painted table lamp. This eye-catching lampfeatures a white, gilt-painted, hollow glass body (see images). The lamphas a unique French Provincial graduated column design and measures ~ 22\"H x 6” in diameter (to 3 1/2\"). All sides of the hourglass shapedbody are hand-painted with a gilt flower and foliage motif (see images).The ornate footed brass baseisadorned with four dolphins on top a 6 1/2\" square elevated embossed brassbase (see images). The lamp is marked on its harp with \"BergerSwivel Pat. 2270497\" (see images).This electric lamp also has its original, 3\'; yellow cord with 120V plugand a Leviton fixture with on/off switch (see images). This gorgeous lampis 33\" H (base to top of 2 1/4\" L finial) and weighs ~ 5 lbs.This lamp is in good condition with no signs of damageor repair. It has not been cleaned and maintains its original patina (seeimages). There are a few scratches and somelight oxidation on the brass finish andthe felt on the bottom of the base is loose(see images). When we tested this lamp, it was completelyfunctional and working. This lovely vintage lamp will nicely accent anyhome or professional decor.
