Presented here is a rare vintage 1940-50 Marionette. This is pretty girl I believe is Alce in Wonderland, she wears a blue dress with black bows. She is 14\" tall overall, the head, lowerarmsand feet are a hard plastic Tenite, the body is soft andmovable with blocks inside, the lower legs are wood. She has the original black strings that extend about 12\" above the top of the puppet. Red wood airplane control with two pieces, one string opens and closes themouth/ jaw, in working order. She has curly blonde hair andpaintedfeatures. Excellent vintage condition, clean, looks never used; there is a flaw on the side of the face and a slight opening in lower side neck seams, I believe these are in the manufacturing (see photos). She is fabulous and hard to find! (Does not come with the stand, I used this so you can see the strings extended in the photos, the listing is for the Marionette only with strings and control).
