Thisis a fantastic old toy rare to find in this condition and complete!!It\'s a Battery-Operated Tin TUGBOAT, named NEPTUNE, manufactured byMODERN TOYS in the 1950\'s, and made in Japan. The tugboat measuresapprox. 14.5\" long, 6.5\" high and about 4.5\" wide. TheLITHOGRAPHED TIN on this is in VERY NICE condition. The boat is allmetal, except for the headlight, switch, and \"tire bumpers\"on the sides and front keel. Complete with smokestack attached tothe top deck and three small tie downs on the lower deck. This toyrequires three D batteries (not included) and works perfectly withfour actions - mystery and shake action, whistle (more of a loud hornnoise), light and chug-chug noise. The toy turns as it moves forward until it bumps into something and then backs up and turns again. The battery compartment clean andhas no corrosion. Originalbox is included, but not in original condition as can be seen inphotos.
