VINTAGE 1953 SINGER FEATHERWEIGHT 221 SEWING MACHINE W/ CASE OIL GREASE & ATTACHMENTS serial number AL 537980 denoting made October 14, 1953 Can not believe the condition and completeness of this Amazing little machine.Small and compact but with the capability of a big machine and add the,simplicity of straight stitch but also coupled with a whole box of specialized accessories should meet almost all sewing need Amazing hard to believe condition and how complete it is even the grease and singer oil can are still in the case The only thing I would do is take it to a reputable shop for a tune up and maybe replace the belt which is probably original to the machine. I plugged it in seams to run fine. I don\'t believe you will find a nicer machine, with all attachments, and original black case minor corner patina (otherwise in great shape). Now!!!.
