Here is a lovely Vintage 1960\'s or 70\'s Signed \"CARLA\" Sterling Silver Floral Etched Hinged Bangle Bracelet. The bracelet has a flower and leaf design etched on the front, with a plain center for a monogram. The back is a plain high polished silver. It is an oval shape with a hinge and push button opening.

The Carla Corporation was founded in the 1965 by Nicholas DeCristofaro Sr., in Providence, R.I. He had been a prominent member in silver jewelry manufacturing, prior to opening his own company, and was one of the co-founders of Beaucraft, or Beau Co. He wanted to start a gold jewelry company that offered high quality products to both large and small retailers. They started buying and selling finished products, as well as making their own findings and finished jewelry to distribute to small independent retail jewelers. The company grew so rapidly, and soon became one of the leading earring manufacturing companies in the U.S. The company also has a line under the hallmark
\"Nancy B\".

It is bracelet is Hallmarked \"CARLA Sterling\" on the slide bar. It measures 2 5/16\" across the oval shape, and 1/4\" wide and it weighs approximately 7 Grams.

The bracelet is in good vintage condition, with some scuffing and a few nicks and a very small dent on the back edge by the hinge, from age and use. The hinge works well with a tight seal, but when you slide it open, it goes to an angle, but I don\'t think it was damaged, but how it was made. Please scroll down and see all 24 pictures.
