Up for grabs is an original condition and very rarefirst year (1978) iconic SEIKO SQ 300M TUNA 7549-7010 with Yobokies BOR S/S bracelet, four leather PILOT style straps w/ buckles, and the rare period correct mint condition SEIKO SQ QUARTZ full boxset consisting of the inner/outer boxes (Made in Japan), foam and velvet inserts, warranty/battery card, owner\'s manual, and SEIKO SQ plastic hangtag. This watch is full of patina and WABI, which just adds to its appeal. Its hard to find these old 300M TUNA\'s in this condition nowadays as most have been completely restored back to NOS condition. The watch was serviced within the last six months by Spencer Klein. The dial and hands have a lot of patina/WABI, and there is a small crack just above the date window, and some of the lettering on the dial is faded or missing. The shroud has wear consistent with a watch of this age. Movement is functioning fine. Crown functions as it should. The bezel is a tad on the tight side. It could use some oil or possibly a new click ball(s). In TZ Very Good 83% condition as the pics show. The movement was completely rebuilt using a few parts from a SEIKO 7546. New gaskets were installed all around, but no pressure test. The HARDLEX crystal is new. The insert was swapped with a SEIKO 7548 bezel insert, so all original genuine SEIKO parts were used. The hands were re-lumed with a vintage patina in order to match the original dial. All of this cost over $400 dollars. The original insert will be included, though it is trashed with tons of WABI rash. This set is the perfect addition to your collection.
