KATIE LOUISE, OUR ADORABLE WESTIE, HAS CHOSEN THIS VINTAGE 50\'s GENE DORIS OF NEW YORK MINK HAT W/VELVET BOW ~ LABEL, AS THIS PICK OF THE DAY.
DESCRIPTION: What an elegant find! We found this Vintage Hat at an Estate Sale. Gene Doris was a well known New York Milliner who designed hats from the 40\'s to 60\'s. So fifties style is this Mink hat that is done in a shades of brown. Mother wore a hat likes this in the 50\'s and this hat reminds us it. The hat is trimmed with a brown velvet bow and inside the hat is a label that says:
Gene Doris New York
SIZE: Our Vintage Hat measures approx. 9 inches from from front to back and approx. 3 inches in height.
CONDITION: We feel that this Vintage Hat is in \"Excellent\" Vintage Condition for its age. There is a minute thinning area on the rim of the hat behind the bow.Also a very tiny section of the label has come unglued from the hat.
