This is a great vintage Virden light with the original union made John C. Virden Co. sticker still inside the mounting plate. see pics. By the looks of it I would say it was made in the mid 60s to the 1970s era. The light measures 20\" top to bottom and the ribbed glass cylinder is about 5\" in diameter. It\'s in great shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. The metal top and bottom are also in great shape. There is no switch so you will have to hard wire in were you can control the on off with a wall switch. Which is the way it was designed. If you have been looking for an original vintage light you probably already know Virden is well known for making quality lights with a great looking designs.
