Splendid Mid 20th Century Solid Sterling Silver North American Pill Box Made By R Blackinton & Co
Description - Verynice North American slide action pill box, the box has the engraved initials M.I.Y.C, the interior tray is silver-gilt (Gold Washed). The box bares the hallmark of the North American silversmith R Blackinton & Co ofMassachusetts.
Provenance-This splendid box was purchased from a Naval and Maritime sale within the UK. \"M.I.C.Y\" indicates thefamoushistorical and exclusive \"Marco IslandYacht Club\".
Condition -The box is in very good condition, there are no dents, dinks, dints, splits, holes or repairs, the interior silver gilt is in excellent order with a nice sheen.Dimensions & Weight -The box is 4.5 long x cm long x 3.5cm wide, the weight is 21 grams.
