3.6 HORSEPOWER OUTBOARD MOTOR

THIS MODEL WAS MADE FROM 1949-50

THIS IS A LOWER SERIAL NUMBERED MOTOR

As the serial # sequence for these kf3 started with 358136 & this one is 360081

THIS MODEL RARELY COMES UP FOR sale

THIS ENGINE WAS STORED INSIDE FOR MANY YEARS...

I AM UNSURE IF IT RUNS BUT I ASSUME IT WILL....IT TURNS OVER Nice and smooth using THE PULL CORD, as it APPEARS to be ORIGINAL AND IS also NICE AND TIGHT...IT HAS VERY GOOD COMPRESSION !!! This thing is ready to Roar !!! The throttle moves between slow and fast as should nice and tight, all moving parts work as should. This is a real nice solid little engine that easily attaches to boats with 2 clamps.

There is a few minor dings to the green metal case - one above the M, and a few very small dings to the underside-not seen nothing crimped and none crack the paint - pictured and only seen at certain angles. The propeller is missing the original screw cap, I placed a washer and nut there.

The Gas tank is empty with a little coat of fuel at the very bottom - the smell is right and does Not show any signs of leaks

FOR ALL THE MERCURY COLLECTORS THIS IS A UNRESTORED VERY CLEAN MOTOR...THERE ARE A FEW MINOR COSMETIC ISSUES LIKE A SCUFF HERE OR THERE MAYBE SOME SPECKS OF PAINT LOSS..THERE ARE NO MAJOR ISSUES WITH APPEARANCE...ACTUALLY THIS WAS UNTOUCHED IN A ESTATE FOR OVER 20 YEARS, DUSTED IT OFF WITH A DETAIL CLOTH
