This is a vintage Mexican hat covered in brown velvet with dark blue velvet trim and gold decorative trim. The hat is not real large. It measures about 16 by 15 inches brim to brim. The hat portion measures 6.75 by 5.75 inches at the inside rim. The hat is in good vintage condition. There is some slight wear on the velvet and some minor fraying of the decorative cord. The cord that goes under the chin in no longer fully attached.
