Up for sale is an amazing lightweight vintage antique Underwood portable typewriter. Most likely from the 1920’s or 1930’s. It doesn’t have all the patent dates listed in the back like some other models so it’s kind of like a 1st edition for that model, I think. It has wonderful black enamel that looks the same way as when it was new.

I would like to tell you that i got it professionally cleaned and serviced but no. This is just the way it was found in an estate from Southern Maine. It seems to be working beautifully. I slid a piece of paper in and started typing. I switched over to red and that worked too.

The wooden typewriter case is in solid condition but there are a few scuffs and mars on the corners. The faux leather paper is peeling on the front left side, (It can be easily glued) and there are a few scratches on the bottom

The typewriter is 12” x 12” x 5” high and is pretty lightweight and portable.
