For your consideration is a beautiful VINTAGE ART DECO OVAL TWO-TONED BAKELITE TRINKET BOX WITH HINGED LID.
The lid is brown with an ornate carved top piece/ handle, and the bottom is black in color. We\'ve included a green felt piece (which is new) for padding.
The trinket box measures9 1/4\" long x 4 5/8\" wide x is 2\" high. It has two metal silver hinges on the back. Both hinges are shiny on the inside, but one is discolored on the outside (possibly rust).
This unique case is marked Made in U.S.A. on the bottom and is in overall VERY GOOD condition with no chips or cracks. There is a very faint circular pattern on the top left side which is barely noticeable. Not sure if it was manufactured like this, or if something was placed there at one time. We purchased this item over 25 years ago at an estate sale and have never used it. It\'s been stored a smoke-free home ever since. This case would make a beautiful addition for any collector.
