Vintage Barbie Resort Set was made by Mattel in Japan from 1959-1963. It included a nautical red sailor\'s jacket with a big sailors collar and cuffs with white sewn on trim, two actual pockets accented the front. The tag was in the back of the jacket. Also part of this ensemble was a navy blue and white striped sleeveless top with a metal snap closure in the back. There was a white visor hat, open at the top for the ponytail, and a white pair of shorts, metal snap closure in back, and a goldtone sawtooth charm bracelet and (not included here) a pair of white wedge sandals. As was the case with the early Japan made clothing, it was very well made.Please note: Colors appear brighter in person than on the computer screen.

Included with this set for sale here is everything but the sandles. The red sailor\'s jacket, the navy striped top, the white hat and shorts, the sawtooth bracelet is missing one charm. In addition included with this set to complete the look are a pair of \"safe\" red earrings and a reproduction of Barbie Home Magazine and her Date Book. What fun!
