Vintage Italian Art Glass Bowl Description and Item Information
Up for sale is this beautiful, vintage Murano art glass bowl or dish. Please excuse the glare in the photos. This piece is blue, with a casing of bubbles and sparkling gold aventurine inclusions. The exterior has textured, vertical ribbing. The piece has an overall square shape, with points and indents that make it look like a star. The piece stands approximately 2 3/4 inches tall. Measured from corner to corner, it has a maximum length of about 7 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 2 pounds 1.7 ounces. The base is ground and polished, except for the center, which is slightly rough. This would be a wonderful addition to a collection of vintage Venetian art glass, or it would look exquisite in a Hollywood regency decor. Identification
This unmarked, vintage piece is attributed to Barovier and Toso of Murano, Italy. Condition
The piece looks great overall, with no chips or cracks. It has very light wear overall, including light wear beneath. A few tiny dark speck inclusions are as made. Please review the photos, and ask any questions you may have prior to offerding or buying. Terms of Sale 1. Sales Tax
Before merchandise is shipped to a California address (or picked up or delivered within California), sales tax will be collected, unless the buyer provides a properly completed and valid California resale certificate form by mail (or in person, in the case of pick up or delivery). Good packaging is included; double-boxing is not included. Framed art will not be shipped unframed. The seller typically ships on Mondays and Thursdays, unless a holiday or special circumstance precludes it. The merchandise will be shipped on the seller\'s next shipping day after payment clears. The seller is not responsible for the transit time once the merchandise has been accepted by the shipping carrier. Economy shipping within the U.S. includes delivery to a physical address via an economy shipping method of the seller\'s choice. At the discretion of the seller, a faster shipping method may be utilized at no additional cost to the buyer. If the buyer prefers a different shipping method other than that chosen by the seller, or if delivery is to a post office box, additional shipping and handling costs may be required. For domestic parcels, a signature will be required for delivery if the total payment is $750 or greater; at the discretion of the seller, a signature may be required for delivery if the total payment is less than $750.
