Here We Have Just Another Great Find From My Grand Mothers 70 Year Old Estate.A VINTAGE HAND MADE\"MEDALLION STAR\"PATTERN COUNTRY QUILT..
IN GREAT USED CONDITION !!!IT IS A HUGE \"88 X 98\"BIGGER THAN A KING!!!!..It has BeautifulDark and Light BLUE Color\'s.. With Dark & Light Green,Pink andwhite through out the Quilted Stars,With aFlowered Pattern Bordering the inside,And with aDark Green Flowered Pattern BorderingAll around the outside of the Quilt...The Back is White And hand Stitching goes all the way through from Front to Back.Very Vibrant Colors. I\'m thinking This Quilt Was Made Around the 1950\'s Or 60\'s that was when my Grand Mother Did Her Most Quilting..No Fraying on the Edges.. How ever as you can see in pictures 9 and 10 There is one Small Tear on one side of the Quilt in the Flowerd Dark Green Border, About 1 inch long and Goes through to the back. It looks like someone tried to fix it with what looks and feels like Glue.. Other than the one small tear the Quilt is in Awesome Shape and Very Beautiful!!!If you look you can see the hand made Stitching in All the pictures,Throughout this Quilt..I would say Quilt is 80 % Hand made 20 % Machine..Quilt is in GreatShape for its Age and use through out the years..Out of all the Quilts I have Sold so far ,I think this one is the most Beautiful one and had a very hard time Deciding on Selling it :0)
