Offered for sale is a circa 1940 Satin Brocade Bedspread, Gorgeous Floral Pattern, ex. condition

This fabulous bedspread is recently purchased from a fine estate. The circa 1940 satin woven tapestry bedspread is in excellent condition, and shows no signs of use. The spread is a beautiful moss green with an overall floral pattern (roses) which is predominately rose pink. The reverse side of the spread is a deep shade of rose. The spread appears to be jacquard woven and could be reversed. This wonderful vintage treasure is shown on a double bed. It measures 84\" wide and 98\" long. There is an additional 5\" long hand tied fringe. The spread would fit a queen size bed with an appropriate dust ruffle. This spread is truly a wonderful vintage find, and a treasure for the vintage textile collector.
