This listing is foranicevintageBirks (Gorham)* Sterling Silverpie/pastry serverin the \"Strasbourg\"pattern. This lovely pattern was first introduced in 1897 and discontinued in 1950. No monogram.
Measures9 1/8\"long, blade is 2 1/8\" at widest. Weighs80 grams.
Thislovelyserver isdecorated with an elegant chasedswag/scroll design on the outeredge. Thecondition is excellentwith no dents, dings or other flaws.
Blade marked \"Stainless\" and handle marked \"Birks, Sterling\". The Birks Silver Company operated in Montreal, Quebec Canada from 1879 to present. In 1907 they became the Canadian branch of Gorham and used many of the Gorham patterns such as the Strasbourg pattern.
