The Sea Witch was an American clipper ship designed by naval architect John W. Griffiths.  She was launched in Manhattan on December 6, 1846.  She was fast and built for the speedy transport of valued freight such as porcelain and tea from China to the US east coast.

Constructed of wood, cloth, plastic and metal this highly-detailed model shows all of the parts of a 19th century ship.  She has three masts and five tiers of sails, a wheel, crow\'s nest, a chained anchor and a golden figurehead to guide the way.

Mounted on a wooden base with engraved plaque, it stands approximately 15\" tall and 18\" long in total.

This collector\'s display item in old vintage condition.
