One of kind listing on as this was made by a master artisan wood carver out of one solid piece of woodwithgorgeous multi-coloredwood grains. Has a primitive yet sleek design, surface is very smooth and tactile. The inside is oval and also very smooth indicating high quality craftsmanship.
Made of tropical and unique woods from the Peten jungle of Guatemala.
Piece does not use any nails but rather a piece of contoured wood to hold the top and bottom pieces together. When opening or closing preferable to use two hands, one to hold the bottom in place while lifting/closing the top and to push back into place.
Measures around 6\" x 10\" across with 15\" girth
Substantive & large piece, weighs nearly 2 lbs. This is a vintage piece andhassome slight surface imperfections that appear to be original to piece. Wood glue attaching the top to thebottomappears worn out, can be used as is or apply new glue. Sold as is.
