VINTAGE: CATHOLIC ALL-OCCASION ASSORTMENT, DEEPLY RELIGIOUS...new cards in box. This assortment of cards were frommy Irish grandmother. My mother said she remembers seeing this box of cards of her mother\'s while growing-up. Date of cards would be somewhere in the 1940\'s...don\'t know if possiblyolder than 40\'s.One box lid side has number 914 (photo 3)...backsideof each card(photos 6, 8, 10)have thatsame number. On the other side of the box lid is a symbol, MADE IN USA, COPYRIGHT (photo4) also, on backside of each card...photo 11 isclose-up shot. These markings helped me to believe allcards belong in the same box. Catholic cards show sequential numbers 1-16 with the4, 7, 9 and 13 cards missing. All Occasion box measures 6 and 1/8\" H,5\" W, 1\" D. The 12 cards measure 5 and 1/2\" H, 4 and 1/2\" W,varying 1/8\" high and wide on some. Envelopes, 11 total, measure 4 and 3/4\" H, 5 and 3/4\" W. Box lid has some condition issues... inside of thebox one corner of paper enforcement needs glued back onto box (photo 12). Card 5 resembles cover picture onbox top. All items clean and in very good condition. Envelopes showsome yellowing. Cards overall arebright-colored...on the inside, most all cards lookmint to near mint condition. Whomever may purchase this card assortment will have something to look forward to inviewing wording and pictures inside.Took many photos of the interesting assortment, inside and out, not room enough to show.
