VINTAGE CHARLES EAMES HERMAN MILLER 2ND PRODUCTION \"CALICO ASH\" PLYWOOD LOUNGE LCW CHAIRcirca 1952 SUBLIME CONDITION.
DESIGN:Iconic Charles Eames designed - Herman Miller molded plywood lounge chair in \"Calico Ash\" veneer, early second production embossed aluminum label dating to 1952-53. This is the matching chair to my recent sale a few weeks ago (#221247445547) and is almost identical in every way. Please review the pictures and description thuroughly as this chair is being sold in its as-found condition.
CONDITION:Overall the chair is in outstanding condition and the pictures tell the story best...there is evidence of very minimal use but otherwise it is completely intact and brilliant condition.The finish is clean and vibrant with a uniform symetrical Ash wood grain pattern. There are a few faint areas of veneer fill that appear as part of the original manufacture process. All original rubber shockmounts show slight signs of aging but are solid and firm with no reglueing/repair evident.All hardware is original, unmolested and intact. The HM/Charles Eames designed embossed aluminum label is still present and fully legible.
DIMENSIONS:This iconic chair measures 27\" tall to the top of the backrest X 22\" in width X 16\" seat height. Seat and base will be detached to accommidate shipping size limitations, simple reassembly with basic hand tools (instructions included).
