I am selling an pretty, brass and enamel pill box. I know absolutely nothing about antique pill boxes -- I am not a collector or a dealer. I just bought this because it was old and quaint. I bought it over 10 years ago, and I believe it to be an antique. It is made of brass and has an enameled, floral design with a blue background. It is marked with a funny-looking \"CHINA\" on the bottom. (see last picture) The hinges work. The box looks to be in great shape to me. I cannot tell if the front lip to lift and open the box with is broken or if it just has a rough, uneven cut to the shape of it.Approximate size is: 3 3/8 X 1 3/4 X 1 1/4 (L X W X H). I have no idea if this is the Cloissonne enamel technique that I have seen other boxes with or not. But if you are looking, you probably do know!
