VINTAGE EDL/MEMLITE THREE ARM INDUSTRIAL RETRO MACHINISTS LAMP MIDCENTURY c1930s:

It\'s a bit of an odd one this. The arms and switchbox base seem to be a 1930s EDL but the shade could have come from a 1950s Memlite. There again it could have been made by another manufacturer entirely, one we have not yet identified!

We have stripped, polished and waxed the arms, base and shade, rewired with bronze silk covered flex to a new brass lampholder and into the original switchbox. The lamp has been mounted on an African teak base with black rubber feet.

Whatever it\'s original this is a great looking lamp!

As with any vintage item, the shade does have a few minor pits and dings but this only adds to the lamp\'s character and helps tell its story.

These lamps are designed to be adjusted with a spanner and screwdriver. The nuts should be tightened once you have decided on the position you want.
