Here is a beautiful Elgin American powder compact being sold for a local estate. It features some lovely enameling including a guilloche enameled flower on the case. Here is the beautiful Elgin American powder compact. It measures about 2 - 3/8 inches high by about 2 - 1/2 inches wide. The top side is enameled and right in the center is that lovely guilloche enameled rose flower. Here is a look at the bottom cover. There is one small scratch in the enameling. The inside looks just about new. The mirror is fine, the color you see is my shirt. The original puff is there, but no powder was ever added to the well.
