This VINTAGE Powder Compact Exudes Classfrom aGlamorousage! A lovely hand chased powder compact is gold tone and is executed on solid brass and measures approximately 3\'\' Length by 3 1/2\'\' Width. It was manufactured by the ELGIN Company of Illinois, USA c/a 1940.
Beautifully adorned with gold tonedfiligree on the front cover. The exterior is exquisitely designed and should clean up with a nice polishing. Polishing, if desired, will be left to the lucky new owner. The front is elegantly engraved with the original owner\'sinitials of \"REC.\" The latch isstrong and the interior powder lid works as designed. There are still remnants of powder in the holder.
A great addition to any collection or for display.
**NOTE** The originalinterior mirror is missing, but easily replaced if desired.
