DESCRIPTION & CONDITION

This sale is for a vintage Fuseemovement, brass skeleton mantle clock, in non-working condition. There are no makers marks or parts numbers stamped anyware, therefore maker and year of manufacturing is unknown but assumed to be, in my estimation, 30\'s - late 50\'s, based on the \"resin\" base. Maybe a Clarkenwell Kit. This clock is entirely made of ornate 1/8\" thick brass, with porcelain enamel roman numerals, a light weight man made material base, with a felt covered platform. What you see is in overall excellent condition, with the exception of a bent top, which can be easily repaired. However, there are several parts missing. I believe this clock came with a bell dome, which would increase the height by another 3 or 4 inches. Also missing is the bell hammer and for sure a pendulum, winding key, chain or band and probably a glass dome.I\'m not an expert on repairing clocks and therefore not sure if any other mechanical part other than what I just mentioned is missing and cannot guarantee it\'ll work. Therefore, this item is being offered as a non-working item, good for repair or parts. This item is still very attractive, displayable and I\'m almost sure functional after having it restored and serviced. On parts alone, this is a great deal. Own and make a statement with this hard to find VERY IMPRESSIVE LOOKINGtime piece.Please look over photos carefully and ask questions before offerding.
