For your consideration: Ok condition: The pipe is smokable, but it is clearly a second hand pipe. Few natural marks/scratches on the bowl and the stem from pre-use. Mouthpiece has been repaired. Pipe rim has a few tap marks/very little darkening. Beautiful bursts of small Birds-eye and flame grain show through the translucent colour finish of the natural briar wood.Previously smoked with mild Tobacco blends only - no heavy aromatics... Enjoy

Stem/crack/repair: Solid & robust.Restored with heat treated vulcanite rubber compound. Feels smooth a silky in the mouth & performs just fine.

The most important qualities that separate good-smoking pipes from great pipes are hidden deep inside. The join between the mortise and Tenon is critical for a dry smoke. If the Tenon is too long, there will be a gap between the stem and the shank. if the Tenon is too short, It creates an open area, and allows moist smoke and air moisture to expand. This then allows cool moisture to condense. When condensed, the stem will act like a straw sucking any moisture into the mouth YUCK... This briar smokes and offers an old time sweet taste that you just don\'t find in modern day briar\'s.
