Up for offer is a nice vintage Global Model GR-711 six transistor radio with case. I tested the radio with a battery but was unable to get it to power on. Some adjustment may be needed. The exterior case measures approximately 2 ¾ inches long by 4 inches tall by 1 ¼ inches wide. Overall the radio is in good condition. The exterior is lightly dirty and dusty throughout and shows light to moderate surface scratching, scuffing and wear throughout. There is what appears to be a partially repaired crack that starts along the bottom left side edge and extends across the bottom lower front edge on the bottom. It measures approximately 3 ¾ inches in total length. I’ve owned the radio for years and I didn’t notice it until now. There is also a small 3/16 of an inch long crack on the right side bottom corner/edge. The interior appears to be complete with all parts and other components. The interior is lightly dirty and dusty throughout. Two of the back door screws are missing. The unit uses a standard 9V battery, but one is not included. The leather case included with the radio appears to be an original. It shows light surface scratching, scuffing and wear throughout, especially along the sides, corners and edges throughout. The edges of the top strap show heavier wear throughout. See pictures for a better idea of condition.
