GOLD TONE VINTAGE WOOD FRAME WITH GESSO CARVING, 21 ¼ inches by 25 ½ inches, measured from the outside back corners. Back of frame is marked MADE IN FINLAND.
Frame opening size is 17 ¾ inches by 22

Frame is circa 1940’s – 1950’s – could be earlier.
Would be good around an antique oil painting. The frame has the original gold tone finish – a few small areas show where the gold is a little worn and underneath red color shows through.

Frame weighs just less than 4 pounds before any packing materials. No glass, no backing. Frame only.
No pieces loose, no parts missing other than part of the carving on a small corner – missing part is only about 1/4 inch and a tiny line piece on the inside edge – see pictures. .
Corners don’t wiggle – frame seems tight. No glass, no backing – NO CONTENTS.
MEASUREMENTS: Outside measurements are 21 ¼ inches by 25 ½ inches. Frame can be used horizontally or vertically.
Inside measurements of the opening are 17 ¾ INCHES by 22 INCHES.
From the side the frame is about 1 ½ inch deep. The molding measured from the front is about 2 inches wide.
