VINTAGE HOLLYWOOD REGENCY MID CENTURY PAIR OF CUT ETCHED GLASS PRISM TABLE LAMPS:

Beautiful pair of Hollywood regency, glass prism, cut and etched hurricane table, mantle, or boudoir lamps. These lamps measure just shy of 16-1/2\" tall, and the bases are 4\" x 4\" square. The two sectionglass prisms (circle on top, bullet shaped on the bottom)are 3-3/4\" long.

The lamps feature the square base which is cut and etched with a fern & flower pattern, additionally there is a channel on the bottom of the base for the cord to come through. Above the base is a smaller square block which measures 1-3/4\" tall x 1-3/4\" wide x by 1-3/4 deep, the block on each lamp is cut and etched on the front panel. Above the square block is a fluted column with a raised small ovals vertical pattern. Above the column is the round bowl shape which the prisms hang from, then a silver colored metal holder which contains the plastic candle fixture for the bulbs (it is much like a Christmas window candle and takesthat type ofsmall candle bulb.) Beyond that the two gorgeous glass hurricane shades sit around the candle. The hurricane shades feature the same cut and etched pattern (fern leaves and etched flower)all the way around the glass. The hurricane shades definitely appear original to the bases.

Condition:

IMPORTANT: the cords are old and absolutely need to be replaced for safety. I was only able to test one lamp (and it does work) because the on/offbutton on the second lamp is completely missing from its\' brown switch box. The cords are also very dirty despite my cleaning them. The lamps are very clean, it is only the cords that are discolored and dirty.

SECONDLY: there is one MISSING glass prism (the circle shaped top part is present, but the lower bullet shaped prism is missing off of it.) There was an extra prism found with this lamp and I will include it, but it does not match the other 19 prisms remaining with the lamps. The bullet shaped prism which is missing isa common shape andeasy to replace, or the missing prism can be placed in the back so as not to be noticeable.

The Hurricane Glass Shades: are in very good condition (and did I mention beautiful!)Each shade hasone tiny fleabite on the top rim edge (you won\'t even notice them when displayed.)

The Lamp Bases: are in very good condition with no chips or cracks. Noted for accuracy, the plastic candle shaped light bulb holder has darkened/discolored from age on each lamp...expected and very minor

The Glass Prisms: Are also in quite good condition for their age, but as stated, there is one MISSING prism bottom (a lower bullet shaped prism is missing.) I went over all these pieces very carefully with a magnifying glass. Noted for accuracy, but minor (not visible to the naked eye,) 2 prisms have replacement little metal hoop parts which affix them to the lamp. Then looking at all 19 prisms remaining with the lamp, I found 8 tiny fleabites here and there on all 19 prisms...again they are not visible when hanging on the lamps!

GORGEOUS lamps...once the cords are replaced for safety, this is a spectacular *w-o-w* set of matching lamps from the Hollywood Regency period!

Lastly, these lamps will be very carefully packaged for shipping. The prisms will be removed and bubble-wrapped separately, so you will need to re-affix themcarefully with pliers when they arrive. The lamps weigh about 7lbs togetherbefore packaging and they will require a larger heavy duty box for safety. Should the shippingend up beingless then shown in the sale, you will be refunded the difference (I only charge exact shipping rates.)

I am happy to combine shipping for multiple sales whenever possible (based on the items you are interested in purchasing and if they can fit in the same box and can be safely packaged together.) Combined shipping cost to the buyer is the actual USPS cost to ship the one box with the multiple purchases enclosed in it.
