This Serving Platter is from the \"His Majesty\" Collectible Series. Itis a lovely large(20 inch)Vintage Serving Platter.


Made by the Johnson Brothers in the mid 1950\'s -- this is the older ORIGINAL back stamp hand engraved and made in England platter vs. the newly re-introduced pattern made in China. Be cautious of sellers who do NOT show the back of the plate to avoid purchasing a reproduction.His Majesty features a regal \"Tom Turkey\" boldly and beautifully rendered on high-quality earthenware shapes. The piece from this classic Thanksgiving pattern is accented with a warm border of fruits, nuts, berries, foliage with bright coloring and a beautiful wooded setting from an original engraving created by Johnson Brothers (founded 1883).This platter is approximately 65 years old and isin excellent condition with no scratches, chips, flakes or cracks - please see images.Made in England this platter would look great on your table or on a display stand.
