Gorgeous antique vintage very large picture frame with photo of OLD WOMAN, from late 1800\'s
Wood and gesso composition on this very large picture frame. The wood is oak with a Golden Oak type of stained finish. It has darkened a bit with age. Elaborateornate gold scroll design on the inner border of the picture of this beautiful old woman.
Victorian print or protrait of a this lady dressed in her finest gown in all her glory!!!
The frame itself measures a whopping 28\" x24\". The interior measurements are 16\" x 20\". This frame and photo are beautiful!!. The frame is sturdy and in great shape for the age.
Very nice condition ~in my opinion, it is one of the better ones I have seen. Looking very very closely I can find just a couple of tiny scratches on the gilt and a spots on the wood. Glass needs cleaning but is intact with the typical little imperfections found in old glass. Portrait of the woman in great shape too.
