VINTAGE LEFTON CERAMIC BANKS GRANDMA & GRANDPA RETIREMENT FUND FIGURES SET OF 2:

These are vintage Lefton ceramic banks. The listing is for a set of two, grandma and grampa figurines, both indicating retirement funds. Both figures are in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs. Each one measures about 5 1/2 inches tall and 3 inches at their widest point. There is a high gloss sheen to them. They both have the original red and gold Lefton foil tags on the very bottom, green Lefton tags with the crown, stickers with alpha and numerical information and engraved numbers under the stickers as well. They each have stoppers, and as an estate sale find, I am unsure if they are the original stoppers, but they both fit snugly.

The Lefton Company was founded in Chicago in 1941, by George Zoltan Lefton. The Lefton Company imported, made, and sold pottery, porcelain, hand painted china, glass, and other ceramic giftware. The company produced some of America\'s most popular collectibles and kitchenware, until it was sold in 2001 after 60 years.
