THE #1860 MARK ON BACK INDICATES THIS IS A PRE-1955 PIECE. \"LEFTON CHINA - HAND-PAINTED\" WITH A GOLD CROWN IS STAMPED ON THE BACK WITH THE NUMBER 1860 IN GOLD.THE SIDES FLARE UP WITH A RANDOMLY SCALLOPED GOLD TRIMMED EDGE. I INHERITED THIS PIECE FROM MY MOTHER. THIS PRETTY DISH IS GREAT FOR DINNER MINTS, OLIVES, GUEST SOAPS IN THE BATH, HOLDING JEWELRY ON A DRESSER, ETC. THE POSSIBILITIES ARE MANY.
