This lovely Vintage Hand Wrought 925 Sterling Silver Pendant was made c1970 in Taxco, Mexico by M.W. Samara and bears the "MWS 925 Mexico"manufacturer's hallmark on the back of the pendant. Heavy for its size, thependant is fashioned in a circular shape with elegant handmade repousse silver floral and bead detail.The pendant features a large single ball beading at the center which is framed by navette and scrollfloral shapes. The bail is original and was cast to perfectly complement the pendantwith a beautifully detailed raised scalloped fan design with repoussebeading.In excellent condition, this impressive sized pendant weighs in at 26.4 grams of 925 sterling silver
and measures approximately 1½" in diameter with a 2" drop from thetop of the bail to the bottom of the pendant.About M.W. SamaraM.W. Samara has designed, manufactured and distributed sterling silver jewelrysince the early 1970s.
