This little pleasure is a beautiful vintage brass, oil rain lamp with the goddess Venus in the center. The lamp has been re-conditioned with a \"new pump\", re-strung, new greenery and the goddess has been re-finished with real gold leaf, not just spray painted. The bottom and top are brass, not plastic. It\'s all clean and ready to go. The lamp measures 27-28 in. tall, about 13 1/2 in. across the opening of the bottom. The Venus figurine is about 12 in. tall and it is 15 in. between the bottom opening and the top opening. There is a 121 in. length of chain with another 43 in. more of wire and there is an on-off switch in the cord. The light socket at the top is a standard size socket and comes with the bulb. All you need is the oil. You can use regular mineral oil from the drug store, takes about 2 pints if I remember correctly. These lamps really set the mood in any room and this is a nice one.
