VINTAGE RARE 1896 OVINGTON BROS T & V LIMOGES FLORENCE ROUND SERVING BOWL /LID:

This is a beautiful vintage Ovington Bro\'s. T & V (Tressemanes and Vogt) Limoges French porcelain round covered serving dish. It has a dainty white and green floral pattern on cream colored porcelain that flows into a gold color. It is also trimmed in gold. The floral pattern is repeated inside the dish and on the inside of the lid. It is in very nice condition with no chips or cracks. It does have a tiny manufacturing flaw on the inside of the bowl where it looks like the glaze did not adhere (see picture 8). It is trimmed in gold and there is just a little gold loss. The dish is 5-1/4\" high to the top of the knob on lid and 9-3/4\" across from handle to handle and 8-1/2\" wide. The dish itself is 3-1/2\" high. The bottom is marked Florence Patd. 28 Oct. 1896 T & V France Ovington Bro\'s France. I believe this pattern is quite rare as I have done research and I have not seen it anywhere. I have three other pieces of this gorgeous French porcelain and would be happy to combine shipping.
