I picked this up recently because of the cute little needlepoint panel in the front. It is so sweet, and the floral detail is, well, beautifully executed with very tiny stitches. Its a small compact, measuring only two and a half inches square (6cm), and it does have a little damage - couple of chips to the enamel frame around the needlepoint and on the blue enamelled back, but it doesn\'t really detract from the vintage appeal of the piece, which actually looks very French. It clasps very tightly, so all in working order, and inside it is silver metal with one of those little tight net squares with pull tag on one side for the powder and the other side should have a small mirror, but it is missing so you could easily put in another tiny one. It has Rowenta stamped into the metal.
