Schrade Walden, 1946 to 1973.
Schrade U.S.A. stamping was used from 1973 to 2004.

Schrade stamping from 2005 on will not say USA, they are made in China

The Schrade company was the manufacturer of the famous Old Timer brand beginning in 1959 and the Uncle Henry brand beginning in 1964.

Schrade closed its doors in 2004. The Schrade named is now owned by Taylor Knives and are now being made in China. The quality is certainly not what it was during the many decades that the Schrade name was synonymous with American quality. This is a U.S. made knife that offers full measures of the quality and performance that built the Schrade name.

The knife has not been used, carried, or sharpened and remains in great condition. It has not been cleaned or buffed and comes in its original box.

These knives represented the very finest in Schrade quality and were among the most versatile and well-made U.S. factory knives. They offer the exceptional quality and performance of a finely crafted knife and carry Schrade's fine name.

OF THE GREAT AMERICAN OUTDOORS

IN 1977 SCRADE CUTLERY INTRODUCED TWO LIMITED EDITION KNIVES KNOWN AS "SCHRADE SCRIMSHAWS".

THESE KNIVES HAD IVORY DELRIN HANDLES WITH STAMPED-IN SCRIMSHAW SCENES. THE ACCEPTANCE WAS

SO TREMENDOUS THAT WITHIN FIVE YEARS THESE KNIVES DEVELOPED INTO A REGULAR LINE CONSISTING OF EIGHT

DIFFERENT PATTERNS. THE NAME WAS EXPANDED TOSCHRADE SCRIMSHAW OF THE GREAT AMERICAN OUTDOORS.

TO MAINTAIN THE EXCITEMENT AND UNIQUENESS OF THIS LINE,SCHRADE CHANGED THE OUTDOOR SCENE OF EACH

PATTERNALMOST EVERY CALENDAR YEAR. THIS HAS GENERATED A GREAT DEAL OF COLLECTOR INTEREST, AS WELL AS
