\"Robért\" trademark was used by The Fashioncraft Jewelry Company of New York (1942 - 1979), Robert Levey was partner and chief designer. The company\'s pieces are quite similar in design to Miriam Haskell jewelry, the base is usually elaborate gilded filigree set and wired with Austrian crystal beads, glass, and faux pearls. The company had an ongoing relationship with the film industry, supplying jewelry to the costume departments. Robért pieces are often quite elaborate, always well-made and avidly sought by collectors. (I HAVE SEVERAL ROBERT\'S UP AT THIS TIME ~ CHECK EM OUT.)
