This is ana **VERY RARE** true VINTAGE Mid-Century c.1950-70 era HANDCRAFTED MODERNIST FREE STYLE ARTISAN beautiful SILVER & METAL & POLISHED AMETHYST GEM STONE chain necklace with attached pendant. Has 3 separate polished amethyst gem artisan boxes connected -----Beautifully free-styled designed pendant with open backs to amethyst stones so as the light catches each glassy gem they glow with various beautiful tones of purple, lilac and lavender mauves with the striking intricate veinsof the natural amethyst stones!
Could possibly be a rare \"Brutalist Modernist\" design - but definitely free style hand-made.
Has delicate \"s\" adjustable back closure to its well-crafted chain.
Unsure of the actual silver content but is clearly old aged tarnished silver-metal -- it\'s very old as as an antique/vintage estate item!! (Not an expert but tried the silver \"magnet test\" - A strong magnet has no affect on the pendant, a strong magnet does NOT stick to silver pendant part but only the thin chain itself reacts to magnet and attaches.)
